Hummingbird Cake

What cake shall I bake next? simple easy cake . Red velvet ?nahh..too lazy to go& buy buttermilk.There's whole loads of chocolate in the fridge but  don't feel like having a chocolate cake…Amende la nak buat ni…korek korek kat dapur jumpa pisang, nenas and pecan nut..hurmm.. hurmm… let's do the humming bird cake..macam sedap..macam senang…


Ingredients

150 g plain flour
3/4 bicarbonate soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
125 g soft light brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
100 ml sunflower oil
1 ripe banana
1 can of pineapple(drained and finely chopped)
25gm pecan nuts- finely chopped and extra slice to decorate

Sift flour, soda bicarbonate and cinnamon into a bowl and stir in the sugar.Add eggs, oil, banana, pineapple and chopped pecan and mixed thoroughly . Bake the cake in pre-heated oven.

Preheat oven- 180C/350F
Cooking time 30-40 min or until risen,g olden and firm to touch.

A cake packed with pineapple, banana and pecan nuts and lightly spiced with cinnamon. Decorated with rich and creamy cheese frosting and they are as sweet as nectar…sedapppp..cuba lah..kalau malls order her from me…hehehehe
